Ontoic is a product of Elara Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Elara Tech Ltd. For questions about these terms, contact us at legal@ontoic.com.

Ontoic provides a personal knowledge graph that lets you capture, organise, and query your own thinking and research. We offer access via a web application, a Chrome extension, and through integrations including MCP-compatible AI assistants.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where possible we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ontoic. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

You own the content you save to Ontoic. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service to you.

• We do not sell your content to third parties.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Content may be transmitted to third-party LLM API providers to process your queries. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You agree not to use Ontoic to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service by automated means
• Resell or redistribute access without our written permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We aim to keep Ontoic available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons with reasonable notice where possible.

Some features of Ontoic require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are shown at the point of purchase. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time unless required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

All intellectual property in the Ontoic product — including the software, design, trademarks, and documentation — belongs to Elara Tech Ltd. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elara Tech Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ontoic — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Ontoic will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice in the product. Continued use of Ontoic after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
